Responsibilities:

• Provide network management to support the operations of the organizations
• Integrate network solutions that improve security and efficiency 
• Must demonstrate high level of competency in designing and improving network infrastructure Investigate best practices and make sound recommendations to improve efficiency 
• Make network security a priority and ensure entire network is secured as effectively as possible
• Provide Patch Management Plans and ensure timely application to all managed network devices.
• Devise template to perform daily and periodical health checks.
• Contribute in the continuing development of Network Operation processes, procedures, standards and methodologies. 
• Identify personal training and cross-skilling needs to proactively achieve this. 
• Best practice methodologies used for all levels of network management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

• Minimum 7 years’ experience.
• Advanced configuration knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches including Nexus.
• Experience in security products such as Tripwire, Checkpoint and McAfee Security Suite.
• Experience with application layer and web technologies such as web application firewalls and caching/compression techniques. 
• Experience with, BIND, SSH daemons/clients, tcpdump, snoop, ethereal and other packet sniffing software or products. 
• Working knowledge and proficiency in Network / Application Load Balancers (F5 preferable).
• Experience analyzing & documenting network configurations and operational processes.

Qualifications: 

• Computer Science or related secondary degree (desirable) 
• CCNP certification required 
• Checkpoint certification (desirable) 
• McAfee certification (desirable) 
• Success in a comparable position supporting networks that are enterprise level, mission critical, with medium to high volume transactions
