Job Description

Territory Account Manager (Cable Sales) - Central US

Our client is expanding the US Sales team and we are focused on Sales hunters with demonstrated recent success in selling solutions. This role will focus on new customer acquisition within the US Cable MSO vertical and assist the Sr. Director in expanding business within existing accounts. The role will utilize and leverage our client’s technical resources (Solution Consultants, Product Architects and Professional Services) to achieve sales targets and provide a full service customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leverage US Cable relationships to identify opportunities for the clients Portfolio
  • Set appointments with key influencers and/or decision makers
  • Develop and manage customer relationships to continually evangelize the products and services that can assist the customer with achieving their strategic initiatives
  • Work with the clients partners to make sure the client is part of their messaging
  • Develop opportunity plans for new business and qualify opportunities within the prospects
  • Develop / present proposals
  • Develop and deliver client presentations

Qualifications


  • Strong OSS/BSS tech understanding
  • Consultative/solutions selling experience
  • Personality – Curious, engaged, genuine, larger than life personality, cares about the customer
  • True sales hunter
  • 5+ years working in the US Cable industry
  • Key contacts throughout the US Cable industry
  • Understanding of the technologies, environments, products and solutions within Cable
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Team player and relationship builder
  • Proven track record in selling to/ with key regional system integrators is a strong plus
  • Travel within the US as needed
  • Relevant undergraduate degree as a minimum
