Job Description

  • Reporting to the Managing Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we are looking for an Account Manager in Switzerland who will focus his/her energy on rigorously expanding our client base and contributing to the growth of the company. Responsible for development and performance of all Sales activities in the assigned market, with primary focus being new business.

  • Manage business relationships/ sales activities  towards existing clients (independent hotels, national and  international key accounts) and prospects
  • Map the market and its opportunities to develop and deliver upon a sales pipeline across all Hoist Group service offerings
  • Conduct face to face meetings with potential clients and prepare presentations on Hoist Group products and services
  •  Negotiate and manage the contracting process to the point of signature and hand-over deals to the  deployment organization to execute.
  •  Report Sales activities in the CRM System
  •  Provide market and competitor updates
  •  Participate in weekly conference call with rest of DACH Sales team

Qualifications

  • University/Degree Level with good financial and technical skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in New Business Sales/Business Development
  • Good understanding of TV Systems, telecommunications and networks
  • Experience from Hotel industry or a similar international service industry is considered as a plus

  • Highly-motivated, competitive and Sales driven ´self-starter´
  • Hunter Mentality - experienced with digging for new leads and referrals.
  • Excellent listening, networking and negotiation skills, with an ease of developing executive relationships.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Written and spoken: English and German. French  is considered as a plus.

The position is based in the Hoist Group office in Geneva. Frequent national (and some international) business travel requirements.
