Our client is a world leader in ground engineering and they are looking for an Asia Pacific Human Resources Director. 

For this key position, we are looking for an experienced professional with a strategic vision and an international background. Good understanding of OD and M&A projects.

This role is based in Singapore, covering APAC.

Job Description

Reporting to the President Asia Pacific Division and dotted line to Group HR Director, you will lead the provision of HR services in the Asia Pacific region to attract, develop, motivate and retain a high performing workforce within a supportive work environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Strategy : Develop HR strategy and HR actions plan to back up the business plan and the organisation development of the region.
  • Build Capability : Systematically build the capability of the team and the wider organisation.
  • Business Partner : Act as a thought partner to the President and the management team of the region and provide counsel on a range of business and staffing matters as required.
  • Talent : Take responsibility for talent development and succession planning in the region.
  • Global : Take an active role in the global HR Leadership team to bring the APAC perspective and act as a relay in Corporate HR initiatives/projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years in HR roles with successful track record in building organisations and contributing to change management projects
  • Experience in either construction, heavy equipment, machinery, manufacturing industries
  • Lived & work in several Asian/Pacific countries
  • Strong IQ & EQ, influencing and consulting skills, building strong relations in order to build alignment, high engagement and energy level
