Darby Smart was co-founded by Nicole Shariat Farb, former Head of Emerging Private Companies in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Karl Mendes, a Senior Software Engineer from Eventbrite.

What You'll Do:

Partner with the hiring managers, draft and post new job postings, and develop creative sourcing strategies to uncover top talent. You’ll be a brand ambassador for Darby Smart. You’ll ensure that every candidate has a great understanding of who we are and what we do. You’ll ensure that every candidate has a positive and engaging interview experience. Because of your ability to build positive relationships with candidates, even the candidates we decide not to move forward with will respect our decision and leave having a greater passion for Darby Smart.

Who You Are:

• A hunter, not a gatherer. You know where to look for passive candidates and know how to build relationships to attract a pipeline of candidates for future roles.
• You have a deep understanding of creative sourcing strategies and tools to engage and excite passive candidates.

• 3+ years of experience sourcing for a variety of roles, ideally in a high growth environment, preferably in a tech startup
• Experience using traditional sourcing tools as well as innovative sourcing strategies
• You’ll bring a successful track record of attracting top talent for a variety of roles
• Experience working in an ATS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
