Job Description

We are seeking a Brand Protection Specialist to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group.  As the Brand Protection Specialist, the candidate will specialize in online brand enforcement and anti-counterfeiting efforts for luxury and consumer goods, electronics, and software companies.  Responsibilities include the following:

  • Monitor various auction sites and online platforms to terminate infringing content.
  • Monitor effectiveness of brand enforcement efforts for the client.
  • Communicate with clients and act as an important point of contact to discuss needs and objectives.
  • Work with a team of Researchers who execute brand enforcement strategies. 
  • Help develop online brand enforcement strategies that can meet client's requirements.
  • Write status reports and review materials to present to clients and attorneys.
  • Conduct client meetings or calls to communicate brand enforcement performance, insights and opportunities.
  • Investigate and research individuals and websites for possible litigation.
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals in preparing legal documents.
  • Prepare, coordinate and submit UDRP filings on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

Recent college graduates with 1-2 years of work experience are encouraged to apply.  Previous experience in a corporate and/or legal setting is highly preferred.  Chinese language fluency is preferred but not required.

Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic record, excellent analytical, management and organizational skills.  Candidates must be extremely detail oriented with superior communication skills both verbal and written, have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to work in a team environment and have an interest in IP.
