Our client, one of the leading gas producing and retailing company in Singapore is looking to hire a Technical and Customer Service Engineer.

Job Description

  • Ensure all works carried out conform to regulatory requirements, code of practices and standard operations procedures
  • Review and implement quality control programs and operational work safety procedures and practices
  • Conduct in-house training of staff and contractors on functionalities and maintenance aspects of new and existing gas appliance
  • Carry out performance and functionalities testing of gas appliances such as water heater, gas dryer and gas burner in the workshop and perform analytic reports on testing results and findings
  • Handle customers enquires on performance and functionalities of gas appliance inclusive of site diagnostic work and other related matter
  • Carry out assessment of requirements of testing facilities, inclusive of set-up and upkeep of equipment in the technical services workshop
  • Render technical support to other Branches and Divisions inclusive of joint development of gas appliances and equipment that meet regulatory requirements and market demands
  • Assist in the administration and operation of the Branch and perform any other duties as assigned by Head of Branch

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant engineering and customer service experience
  • Class 3 driving license
  • Able to start work immediately
