Job Description

AThe Principal Consultant role is intended for employees that are considered to be Optiv's top technical and consultative resources that provide technical eminence, and are expected to be equally successful in both technical and soft skills (presenting, communicating, relationship building). Principals will be expected to heavily contribute to client projects as well as customer and Vendor partner projects and events. Principals will be expected to be billable to multiple projects simultaneously and provide the overall technical oversight and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for each project they are assigned to. In addition, because of their senior level technology expertise, they will be expected to contribute to Center of Excellence (COE) related initiatives and help drive the development and consistent improvement of COE IP. Principals will also be expected to mentor and help grow the consultants that are part of their particular COE. Principals are the first line of technical support and issue resolution during project deployment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems or related area of study; or 8 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Minimum 5+ years of Information Security experience required.

• Minimum 5+ years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience required.

• Minimum 5 years IAM technology deployment experience required.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience deploying SailPoint IdentityIQ in complex and diverse customer environments on multiple types of application servers and operating systems preferred; including Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, IBM Websphere, Windows, Linux. preferred.

• Experience working with multiple IAM related technologies: Active Directory, LDAP, HRMS, DBMS, and SaaS applications required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate technical details in a clear, understandable manner to multiple levels of an organization.

• Customer-oriented focus with a strong interest in client satisfaction required.

• Strong understanding of Information Security, Identity & Access Management, and SailPoint technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technology or concepts very quickly required.

• Demonstrated outstanding time management, independent work and organizational skills required.

• Self-starter, with a strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IAM field and with new SailPoint technologies required.

• Strong java/ /beanshell skills required, JavaScript is a preferred skill.

• Experience developing custom rules, custom workflows, and custom tasks in SailPoint IdentityIQ required.

• Proficient scripting language skills including PowerShell, PERL, etc. preferred.

• Strong understanding of SailPoint standard build process required.

• Strong understanding of Service Standard Framework preferred.

• Strong understanding of code migration, WAR file deployment, and source control use and setup required.

• Understanding of how to integrate SailPoint IdentityIQ via web services (SOAP/REST) is preferred.

• Knowledge of key IS Compliance-related government regulations including SoX, PCI-DSS, GLBA, HIPAA preferred.

• Deployment experience with Sun Identity Manager or BMC ControlSA preferred.
