Job Description
As a member of the Informatics team, the EMR administrator will be assigned responsibilities for a software product which will include daily operations and data integrity audits and reporting.
Daily Operations tasks include:
- Investigation and resolution of user questions and issues
- Optimization and customization for providers and employers
- Managing System upgrades
- Ensuring work is carried out within standards, methods, and procedures
- Reporting for providers and management team
- Auditing of user access and security
- Networking and monitoring user forums
Additional data integrity reporting
- Development and reporting of business intelligence using QlikSense software
- Certified registry reporting
- Government required reporting
- Patient Reported questionnaire reporting
- Serves as a back-up for any Informatics team members when needed
- Undertakes such other duties as may reasonably be required of you commensurate with your general level of responsibility and the general scope of the post, as determined by the your manager.
- Continual education to enhance skills on the job.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Minimum 2-year college degree, 4-year degree is preferred, with additional computer certifications (MS Office, Qlikview).
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years experience with practice management software and information technology functions related to a wide variety of computer software, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Experience with reporting is a must. Experience with MySQL reporting is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access is strongly preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Experience with eCW is a plus
