Our client, a leading provider of  travel payment solutions is looking for their Service Desk Agent to be based in Singapore.

Your duties

As a Service Desk Agent , you are mainly responsible for supporting our client's national and international  staff  (main focus for support is Asia Pacific). You are the first contact (1st Level Support) for questions and problems regarding desktop software, desktop hardware, mobile devices and internal applications. In this position the following tasks are part of your responsibilities:

• Handling of IT requests via phone and email and enter incidents and service requests into our tickets system, attempting to diagnose and resolve incidents. If necessary, you forward requests to the appropriate level of expertise.

• Tracking of the progress of tickets from your support group and take care that resolutions will be delivered in line with the according Service Level Agreement (SLA)

• Providing of a competent and customer orientated service in order to achieve a high customer satisfaction

• Configure and install laptops, peripheral equipment, and mobile devices and support the Regional Offices in APAC during office moves and expansions or for hardware lifecycle-rollouts


Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, certifications or equivalent work experience

• First relevant professional experience in a similar position or at least in one of the relevant fields

• Outstanding commitment, reliability, flexibility and ability to work in a team

• Service-oriented working style and innovative attitude 

• High level of social sensitivity and cultural awareness with the ability to build successful and collaborative relationships with people from divers cultural backgrounds

• Securely navigate through Windows 7 and Microsoft Office products and happily communicate and transfer your knowledge to our internal customers

• Very good written and spoken English and Mandarin skills

• Any other language will be an asset

• You must be willing and able to work flexible work shifts as required as well as available for on-call-duty on Saturdays and public holidays

• As you are working with the International markets you must be ready to travel occasionally
