CoEnterprise is seeking a talented Database Architect to join its growing Big Data and Analytics Practice. The Database Architect will be responsible for the overall design of the data tier of applications, the fit of the data into the overall Information Systems applications and integrations for CoEnterprise’s clients. 

The candidate will:

• Design, build, and maintain Master Data system and tools and BI system and tools

• Participate in process flow analysis and process design along with the Product Owner and architect teams

• Partner with clients to select and implement applicable hardware, software, platforms, etc.

• Design, develop, and oversee data integration implementation of end-to-end integrated systems

• Work with Data Analysts and Analytics Consultants to develop and assess SQL jobs with an emphasis on optimization opportunities

• Document client’s existing systems architecture and technology portfolio and make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives

• Communicate and coordinate architecture and strategy with various departments

• BS/BA or equivalent in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines 

• 3+ years of transactional and analytics database design experience including logical and physical modeling, normalization, de-normalization, data warehouses and BI

• 3+ years of experience working with SQL and at least one of the major database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Sybase, or Postgres)

• Experience with high performing ETL solutions

• Exposure to visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Omniscope, MicroStrategy, etc.

• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to be client facing

• Easily adaptable and flexible to changing situations
