ITU is a non-profit, WASC accredited, graduate university offering Master’s and doctoral degrees and certificate programs in fields of business administration, electrical, computer and software engineering, engineering management,  computer science and digital arts. A one year capstone baccalaureate degree is being developed as a bridge to ITU’s Master’s degree programs. The university currently serves approximately one thousand one hundred students from 44 different countries.

Job Description

As an Admissions Officer, you will report directly to the Manager of Admissions. Your main duty is to assist the Manager of Admissions in coordinating with various departments throughout the institution to ensure the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Representative are fulfilled. Offering administrative support to encourage graduate admissions and enrollment. Your role will include guiding the prospective student through the enrollment completion process and make the decision to admit the student based on academics. An excellent customer relation to students is a necessary trait. This position includes coordination and supporting various departments throughout the institution. Reviewing applications is a significant function of this position.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in counseling/mentoring, outreach or in a higher education setting is required.
  • Must have strong decision making skills, ability to motivate, listen and connect people.
  • Expertise in foreign credential evaluation preferred.
  • Proven customer service and has strong ethical standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills utilizing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Salesforce and/or other CRM experience.
