In BEUMER Group, we like to be ahead of technology. Recently, the global responsibility for our conveyer solutions has been centralised in Denmark, and in this new position, you will develop and maintain our concepts and standards for all electrical aspects of our conveyor systems worldwide. 

Join a team of conveyor specialists
In Aarhus, Denmark, you will become part of the Product Design and Engineering department. Here, you will join the Product Engineering Conveyors team, consisting of software and hardware engineers who develop and standardise our conveyor systems for e.g. airports and logistics centres at a global scale. Currently, we have an electrical engineer temporarily attached to the team, but we are looking to add a permanent electrical expert to extend our competences.

Take global responsibility for electrical components for conveyor systems 
You will develop and maintain the electrical components for our conveyor systems, covering everything from developing power panels to on-site electrical installations. Furthermore, you will drive global standardisation of electrical concepts, ensuring that requirements across borders and industries are met. You will do this in close collaboration with your conveyor team and with great support from your cross-organisational electrical engineering colleagues. Moreover, you will:

• Create the necessary documentation and instructions for installations by testing prototypes in our in-house test centre 
• Deliver the concepts and related documentation to the project department and ensure correct implementation in collaboration with mechanical engineers and software colleagues
• Teach electrical fitters, project managers and assistants etc. about the installation and use of electrical conveyor products worldwide
• Ensure knowledge sharing with the cross-organisational electrical engineering team and keep yourself and your colleagues up to date on technological developments 

Your international colleagues will often visit Denmark to learn about the products, but you should also expect approx. 20 travel days a year to visit our global sites.

Electrical expert with solid collaboration skills
As a person, you have a talent for international collaboration, and you have excellent communication skills as you will have to teach your colleagues across the world about the electrical concepts and standards you develop. 

• You are an electrical engineer, an automatic systems engineer or similar with experience in hardware construction of electrical installations and control systems design 
• You know machinery directives and international standards within electrical equipment
• It is an advantage if you have experience with Eplan and AutoCAD construction
• You are fluent in English in both speech and writing as you will teach your international colleagues in English – and if you know Danish, it would be an advantage
