Job Description

Inside Sales Account Executive -- Bellevue, Washington

The Inside Sales Account Executive will be responsible for growing sales and revenue from our client's award winning and expanding product line. The role requires a minimum of three years of documented technology sales success. The ideal candidate is somebody who gets up every day eager to sell, grow and close business. This is a "hit-the-ground" running type role. Enthusiasm and drive are key to this position's success. 

Requirements of Position

  • Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
  • Prospecting, qualifying and generating sales within our established Trading Partners.
  • Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive contact of existing Trading Partners.
  • Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.
  • Work closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development.
  • Respond to requests from customers for information and giving on-line presentations.
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients, demonstrations and presentations.
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce industries.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years in a technical sales or sales support role with experience in a retail / channel environment and B2B
  • Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Apple computers and software would be a distinct advantage
  • Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, HTML, and MS Office tools; knowledge of computer systems, communication tools and software such as Windows NT, FTP, HTTPS, SMTP, Internet Security, and delimited file formats.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
  • Good time management and ability to work on their own at times
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM web based tool is a plus
