Our client , world’s leading independent online panel and technology provider to the global marketing research industry, is looking for its Business Development Manager to be based in Hong Kong.


Job Description

The APAC partner development manager will lead the business development and partner relations efforts in the APAC region. 

The partnership focus is to provide survey respondents to the Company and their extensive global client base. The partnerships will, through an API, integrate with the Company, providing access to their members in real time for survey completion efforts.  

The APAC partner development manager will be responsible for seeking out, cold calling converting and managing all aspects of partnerships with digital, mobile and social media publishers, communities, organizations, and any other media outlets fitting for the Company and their specific client needs. 

General responsibilities include developing media and digital publisher prospects, leads, booking and generating meetings, negotiating and closing partnership deals and managing the relationship through the entire lifecycle of each partnership. 

This position also requires specific per-country panel base targets.

Main responsibilities:

• Sourcing, evaluating and recruiting new partners 

• Maintaining relationships with partners, as well as, motivating partners to improve performance (ex: response rates)

• Negotiating contracts and agreements 

• Monitoring tracking and general partner performance 

• Generating performance reports, providing analysis and executing on that analysis to ensure positive results

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Technology preferred Affiliations, a plus


Technical skills:

• Business Development / Sales experience (mandatory)

• Lead generation / cold calling skills (mandatory)

• Mobile media understanding a plus 

• Media /advertising sales (digital, mobile, traditional) a plus

• Technology Sales a plus 

• API knowledge a plus 

• Publishing / Internet Media /Social Media experience a plus 

• Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics for best decision-making 

• Technological implementations via APIS  

• Coding not necessary, topline understanding a must 

• PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
