Mobile retail operations extend along the Eastern seaboard. At one location there is an extensive standup paddleboard and bicycle sales and rental operation. Job Description

Coastal Urge on Bald Head Island, NC is looking for an outdoorsy, positive, energetic and detail-oriented person who wants to work with a great company and a fun staff! 

This is a summer seasonal position lasting from May through September. 3-5 days per week.

Seasonal Paddleboard/Paddlesurf Instructor job description for Coastal Urge Rentals:

- Book rentals an excursions/bike rentals on phone and in person.

- Guide excursion clients on the water during paddleboard tours.

- Deliver and pick up Paddleboards and bicycles to island homes with our company's electric vehicles.

- Generate sales by providing outstanding customer service.

- Greet the customer, attend to customer needs and build and nurture a loyal customer base while making safety a primary focus.

- Provide feedback to buyers and management on product needs, repairs needed, and inventory.

- Keep products, equipment and grounds neatly maintained to company guidelines.

- Open and close the store to specifications, completing associated tasks and maintaining accurate completion records.

- Reduce inventory shrinkage by following all inventory and billing procedures

- Complete other associated duties as required

-Provide sales, stocking and housekeeping support at the retail store as needed.

- Book rentals an excursions/bike rentals on phone and in person.

- Ability to lift paddleboards and assist customers with equipment, as well as the ability to tow clients back to shore if necessary.

- Have a love of the outdoors and live an active outdoor lifestyle with emphasis and ability to provide competent information to guests (once you have been trained) about our bicycles and stand up paddleboards (SUP).
