Job Description

Christian Brothers High School and Christian Brothers University seek a Civil Engineering & Architecture teacher for the 2018-2019 academic year.  The teacher is responsible for the planning, execution and assessment of learning in the Civil Engineering and Architecture course, implement traditional classroom teaching as well as hands-on activities and projects.  

This position is jointly hired by Christian Brothers High School and Christian Brothers University as part of the CoLaB program.  Additional responsibilities for the CoLaB program will include grant writing, research, and website development and maintenance.  This position requires teaching responsibilities at both CBHS and CBU in the civil engineering department.

Qualifications

B.S. Civil Engineering

M.S. in Civil Engineering or related engineering field


The curriculum for this course is offered through Project Lead the Way, for which attendance at a 2 week training sessions will be required.  

The applicant may be asked to teach a short sample lesson in the course of the application process.
