We are seeking an outstanding sales professional to maintain and build our accounts in SW Florida.  The ideal candidate will live in the Bradenton area and be able to branch out from Tampa to Sarasota.  Other desirable locations include anywhere between SW Tampa, Port Charlotte, to Naples.

Job Description

It is the responsibility of an Account Relationship Manager (ARM) to build their account base to its maximum sales and gross margin potential, while upholding Stellar’s Vision:

Ideal Customer <-> Supplier Partnerships

More specifically, it is the responsibility of the ARM to:

  1. Create and implement target/key account sales plans and completion of plan, with quarterly updates to Sales Manager
  2. Meet or exceed customer expectations with focus on building long-term relationships
    1. Clear communications on customer needs with Customer Experience Team
  3. Understand Stellar’s service abilities:
    1. Stellar Managed Inventory (SMI), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), response times, technical abilities, contract agreements and flexibility therein, etc.
  4. Constant and clear communications with Sales Manager on impediments to progress, suggestions for improvement, opportunities, etc.
  5. Constant development of product knowledge
  6. Utilize supplier contacts to help develop territory and their resources
  7. Generate sales opportunities with new accounts in your territory
  8. Penetrate existing accounts, constantly look for additional and new products we can sell
  9. Strive to be a value added sales person
    1. Always on the lookout for ways to save the customer both time and money
  10. Preparation of annual sales budget

Qualifications

  • Relatable outside sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Well organized
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to manage prospects in CRM
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel overnight on occasion
