Job Description

The Department of Business Administration at Augsburg University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach Market Research and International Marketing. The Market Research class meets online and the International Marketing class meets once a week in the evening.

Each course pays approximately $4250 and requires 12 to 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include grading and teaching the class, regular email access for students and office hours as needed.  Course syllabus, textbook and shared office space are provided. 

Augsburg's Business Department stresses active, experiential learning and is now housed in our newest building, the Hagfors Center for Science, Business and Religion.  Faculty and students work with local businesses and nonprofits on projects both for classes and as internships or field studies. Our location in Minneapolis provides broad ranging opportunities for collaboration with industry partners as well as colleagues at the numerous colleges and universities in the Twin Cities. 

Qualifications

Requirements for adjunct positions include a Master's degree or higher and 5 years of professional marketing experience.  Some teaching experience preferred.
