The Sr. Microsoft IT Applications Analyst for Business Intelligence will work with the Data and Analytics team to build a core set of our high-demand data services to form a service-oriented infrastructure to meet the company's growth trajectories in both data volume and analytic needs. The role requires technical administration and development expertise with experience in the Big Data and enterprise reporting space.

· Administer & develop solutions in the Microsoft data and analytics stack (SSAS Tabular, Master Data Services, SQL Server, and Visual Studio)

· Use SQL Server Integration Services to develop and design reporting and analytical solutions

· Develop SSAS cubes and supporting SQL server jobs and integration to support production reporting needs in a Hadoop environment & Promote SSAS cubes to production such that all loads and updates are automated. Document production load processes so that they are fully supportable by existing data team members

· Participate as requested on corporate project teams where management reporting and/or data import/export are involved to support the planning and implementation process. Help troubleshoot challenges and inaccuracies that may arise

· Support all integrations and administer database maintenance tasks on system

· Create ad-hoc queries and reports as requested and provide on-going analytical support for these requests

· The BI Developer will be working closely with our leadership and technical teams to understand business and technical requirements to deliver robust, reusable, and highly scalable solutions that are used to drive key business decisions.

· Ongoing maintenance, enhancement and support of any reports or solutions provided, so that they continue to meet business needs

· Included in this scope of work are development of dashboards, scorecards, reports, user interfaces, and associated data structures using Microsoft technology, applications and tools.

· In addition, the BI Developer will focus on administering the Microsoft Reporting stack and the development & delivery of production SSAS cubes to support BI solutions.

· Requires in-depth experience (3-5 years) using MS SSAS

· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, Analysis Services

· Experience implementing SSAS and SSIS projects

· Basic Shell Scripting; i.e.: Python, Shell, PowerShell

· SSAS Administration and Development experience s

· Experience in Microsoft SQL Server developing complex transact queries including stored procedures, functions, indexes and views

· Experience administering Microsoft SQL server development & production systems

· Experience with Object Oriented Programming Concepts and Object Oriented Design

· Design, develop, and deploy solutions in supported BI reporting tools including: Microsoft BI analytics stack (SSAS Tabular/Multi-Dim, SQL Server, SSIS, and Visual Studio), MicroStrategy, etc.

· Perform basic business/data analyst functions such as requirements gathering, technical designs, and testing documentation

· Participate as requested on corporate project teams where management reporting and/or data import/export are involved to support the planning and implementation process. Help troubleshoot challenges and inaccuracies that may arise
