In order to strengthen their HR teams and organisation in the region, they are currently looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager.

Reporting line: Human Resources Director APAC


Role summary: 

  • As Regional Human Resources Manager and within a Joint-Venture context, you will ensure the integrity of HR works all over the Asia Pacific region.
  • Day by day, you will have to plan, organise & implement HR activities within the whole region and work with field teams to roll-out shared HR guidelines.
  • You will align the HR organisation regionally and giving visibility on the actions of each specific country to Regional HQ and Global HQ.


Main responsibilities:

  • Function as a strategic HR consultant to lead the Asia Pacific region on all Human Resources related matter
  • Responsible for leading HR practices in the region while acting as an HR coach and mentor 
  • Creating and executing a Human Capital plan and driving the HR agenda to support business objectives
  • Partner and collaborate proactively with regional HR teams and business management functions by providing HR support when required
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs and provide HR policy guidance supporting the interpretation to the business
  • Formulate strong and integrated partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation 
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance and coaching to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Analyse trends and people metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Make sure all the HR processes, systems and tools are aligned with the company’s HR policy

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years work experience in a regional HR Generalist / Business Partner role preferably with MNCs operating within a matrix organisation
  • Ideally with a previous exposure working with Luxury or FMCG industries
  • Experience in the retail/brand arena is a strong advantage
  • Sound HR knowledge and practise in compensation matters, diversity, performance management, employment laws, employee and union relations
  • Very good knowledge of APAC various HR Regulations environment
  • Ability to build and maintain credibility with senior business partners and act as a change agent
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to coach and address conflict when required
  • Ability to drive results and challenge the status quo
