Job Description

As a successful Precision Medicine Regional Account Executive you will increase laboratory testing volume and revenue through market development, education, and promotion of Cynvenio’s portfolio of oncology testing services. You will advocate the clinical benefits of our products to call points in the hospital laboratory, clinic, and physician's office. Call points include; Oncologists, Surgeons, Oncology Nurses, Lab staff, and Physician Assistants. The successful Regional Account Executive will have a level of sophistication to nurture customer relationships with Oncology Key Opinion Leaders, manage the dynamics between lab, doctor, & supporting clinicians, and be able to support ordering clinicians in the adoption of new technology.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales targets and consistent growth in sales territory
  • Execute Cynvenio's sales strategies & tactics including establishing and growing KOL network
  • Expand testing utilization in existing accounts with an emphasis on education and support
  • Educate and market testing services to new customers
  • Consult and educate clinicians on new testing services/solutions
  • Develop and execute territory business plan aligned with regional and national sales strategy
  • Maintain >90% customer satisfaction level
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that support customer-facing activities within the region
  • Develop demand for, and adoption of, new testing services
  • Develop and implement customer-specific action plans on key accounts
  • Deliver individual presentations or schedule joint presentations with Cynvenio’s clinical & scientific leadership
  • Host and assist with conferences and trade shows
  • Actively manage customer data in Cynvenio’s CRM system

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong track record of achieving & exceeding sales goals selling oncology testing products
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clinical/technical information to customers
  • Must have a passion for customer service and education
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proven track record with demand creation in large territories
  • Experience with customer base within the selected region
  • Strengths in networking and relationship development
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Formal sales training experience such as SPIN Selling or PSS
  • Strong time and territory management skills
  • Open to and enjoy travel in a multi-state territory
  • Skilled in MS Office, iWork, GoToMeeting, WebEx and technology in general
  • Places value on using CRM applications to manage sales territory, issue quotes, create sales forecasts/funnels and reporting progress
  • Must have superior presentation skills
  • Must have strong writing skills to assemble proposals

Minimum Certifications/Educational Level:

  • Bachelor's Degree – Business, Marketing, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or Nursing

Minimum Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience selling Oncology laboratory testing services to cancer-treating clinicians and clinics
  • Successful launch experience in first-to-market oncology products is preferred
