Job Description

For our Product Design & Engineering department we are looking for an independent and analytically strong Electrical Engineer for the Power & Mechatronics team. You will be part of a competent and well-working team, whose primary task it is to maintain and develop the electrical sub-systems for our fully automated logistics systems for airports, post terminals, and distribution centers all over the world.

Your new job
You will have your fixed base at our Aarhus office and will be a part of Product Design & Engineering, which consists of competent colleagues specialising in electricity, mechanics and PLC software. This is a versatile and international job with around 10-20 travel days annually which will give you the opportunity to see the result of your – and your colleagues' – efforts on site.

More specifically, your tasks will include:

  • The maintenance, continuous improvement, and development tasks on our electrical systems and parts, including drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and documentation
  • Shared responsibility for electrical concepts and systems for our products
  • Developing project specific systems
  • Project management in regards to customer deliveries
  • Testing products, parts, and project specific solutions in the test centre
  • Troubleshooting on parts and products

Your profile
You have practical and theoretical knowledge of, and experience with, motors, inverters, servo drives and PLC hardware and the application of these components.You have an education as MSc/BSc or similar relating to the job content. Also, you have as a minimum 5 years of experience in similar tasks. If you have experience in FieldBus systems, EPlan, and the Machinery Directive it will be a further plus. You speak and write English fluently. Speaking Danish would be an advantage or you would be willing to learn.

As a person you are independent and have an analytical as well as a structured approach to your tasks. You have the capability to prioritize, plan, and complete on schedule in an environment where several tasks must be handled simultaneously. Furthermore, you are a team player who appreciates confidence, humor, and an informal tone in the workplace.
