This Company from the Construction/Civil Engineering industry, which is part of a large international group, is looking for a new Managing Director to grow and lead its business in Singapore.

Reporting to the Regional Director Asia, your prime responsibility will be to develop new business for the Company by enhancing new strategic partnerships, building on your relevant track record in the field. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Direct the company’s planning activities and provide leadership and overall guidance in both the administration and operation of the company.
• Manage the promotion, development and extension of the business of the Company and protect the reputation and interests of the Company.
• Definition, planning and execution of sales strategies to achieve target growth in Singapore
• Market Analysis and Risk Assessment
• Oversee tendering and negotiation of contracts including contractual administration 
• Develop marketing strategies and lead marketing activities
• Establish the vision and objectives for your teams and inspire them to follow your lead. 
• Manage directly Key Accounts

• Proven track record of operating at Managing Director level within the construction/engineering industry with a strong sales and business development background.
• Strong knowledge of the Construction / Civil engineering sector and environment in Singapore, managing new builds or renovation projects. 
• Strong influencing and business partnering skills, coupled with a strong creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Able to implement and drive change throughout an expanding business.
• Strong communicator and able to articulate themselves in a manner that stakeholders understand and embrace.
• Creative manager, always seeking for new opportunities and ways of doing, and able to inspire his team.
• Successful experience working within an MNC environment.
