It is the responsibility of warehouse person to work as a valuable member of the branch, to support branch operations through efficiency and accuracy in the warehouse, while observing the principals stated in Stellar’s Mission Statement and Vision.

Major responsibilities and expectations:

 More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Warehouse Associate to:

1)      Accurately and efficiently pick, pack and process customer orders and transfers:

a)      Understand basic ERP system (P21) Order Entry and Transfer Entry functions

b)      Use the ERP system and WWMS (Wireless Warehouse Management Solution) to accurately pick customer orders and transfers

c)      Pack orders and transfers properly for shipping, with appropriate paperwork and labeling

d)      Accurately prepare and ship orders using ERP system and UPS system, recording shipments properly and shipping using instructions from order

e)      Perform all above tasks while meeting the company standards for safety and security

2)      Accurately receive, put away and cycle count inventory:

a)      Understand basic PO Entry function

b)      Accurately record receipt of PO and transfer items in a timely fashion on the same day that it arrives

c)      Process any problem shipments timely and accurately, communicating immediately with the proper departments

d)      Accurately put stock away in a timely and quick manner in appropriate, assigned warehouse locations

e)      Perform accurate and timely cycle counts based on branch commitment to 100% count 2X annually

3)      Conduct yourself as a responsible Stellar employee and co-worker:

b)      Display a consistent positive, can-do attitude at all times in a fast paced environment

c)      Keep your work area clean and neat, free of safety hazards  

d)      Work as part of your team, supporting others in your department to meet our branch and company goals

g)      Maintain constant and clear communication with your manager on impediments to progress or suggestions for improvement opportunities

h)      Always work with honesty and forthrightness

• Previous Warehouse related experience is desirable, but not required
• Proficient with MS Office
• Must be able to learn and operate a forklift
• Requires standing, stooping, reaching, walking, and sitting for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis and up to 75lbs on occasion
• Must be able to perform repetitive work with your hands and arms
•  Basic understanding of 5S strategies and ISO highly desired
