Job Description

Job Summary

Prepare, update, and organize associated documentation for logistics, sustainment, and technical support, and prepare and maintain training materials for integrated logistics support of government customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact between GATR and government logistics/provisioning specialists 
  • Attend customer meetings and program reviews, providing updates on logistics data
  • Create provisioning plan for customer-specific configurations, to include Provisioning Parts List (PPL), logistics drawing tree, Maintainability Task List (MTL), and Maintainability Task Analysis (MTA)
  •  Generate/maintain customer equipment configuration tracking system and coordinate upgrades, technical bulletins, and recalls
  • Create Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis reports for various customer configurations, to include reliability predictions; operational and mission availability; Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA); and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  • Provide input to government Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
  • Coordinate logistics/provisioning actions due to component end of life, material shortages, supplier changes, and obsolescence

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of DoD Logistics Management Information Data Products
  • Working knowledge of root cause and RAM analysis
  • Familiar with National Stock Numbers and their use in the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio 

Credentials and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or Engineering 
  • 11+ years DoD logistics experience, with DoD logistics equipment specialist experience preferred 
  • U.S. citizen 

Special Requirements

  • Some travel required (less than 25%)
