Job Description

The Integration Services Support and Field Specialist position is responsible for providing technical support for both internal and external customers’ electronic access control systems while supporting the company’s philosophy of customer service and quality. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software utilizing various methods and techniques
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of industry hardware and software

Documentation and Remote Customer Support

  • Complete quality control assurance of materials produced and staged for installation
  • Maintain and update records and tracking databases
  • Perform internal audits of restricted materials and records
  • Provide customer service and technical support as needed via remote sessions, phone, and email for hardware and software
  • Provide training to develop skills and knowledge of other associates

Field Service and Support

  • Complete site surveys and floor plan renderings of customer facilities
  • Assist in shop and field installation projects

 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Understanding of electronics and technical terminology
    • Ability to climb, bend, and stand for prolonged periods
    • Use of basic hand and power tools preferred
