As part of our Café staff, you must be friendly, outgoing, and possess gifted customer service skills. Great candidates will be excited to step into a dynamic, fast-paced environment and take ownership of our Café, as you will play a major role in ensuring an enjoyable experience for all Badlands customers. Responsibilities

• Delivers fast, friendly food and drink service through mindfulness, a positive attitude, and connecting with customers of all ages.
• Knowledgeable about Badlands’ food and beverage menu.
• Ability to display and serve hot and cold menu items in accordance with all health and safety standards.
• Contributes to a fun, friendly Café atmosphere by maintaining calm during periods of high stress and communicating any potential problems to the manager on duty.
• Maintains Cafe cleanliness throughout shift and provides a visually appealing experience for customers.
• Acts in accordance with Badlands values and strives to promote these values within the team and to customers.
• Follows all Badlands operating and cash-handling procedures.

• Basic knowledge of POS and cashier systems
• Proven customer skills – demonstrates an outgoing and genuine personality
• Ability to identify food quality through taste, texture, color, and odor
• Work safely in an environment that includes food, ovens, food processors, knives, slippery floors, and possibly extreme heat
• Experience in a retail or restaurant environment a plus
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach to stock shelves, work while standing, and lift 30 pounds
• Mandatory weekend and evening availability
• Ability to serve alcohol preferred
• Non-smoking
