Job Description

Responsible for maintaining industrial security program to include protection of classified systems and physical and personnel security.  This requires executing the day-to-day administrative functions required to maintain compliance per the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and positioning GATR to expand classified activities, as required. 

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Maintain compliance with all aspects of the NISPOM
•    Determine program requirements and development of Standard Practices and Procedures.
•    Interpret government contractual security requirements and provide direction and guidance to program personnel.
•    Responsible for personnel security clearance processing, indoctrination, and ongoing security education
•    Maintain classified document controls
•    Develop and maintain, in partnership with IT, an effective Information Systems security program for the electronic processing of classified information.
•    Establish and oversee visitor control program including processing incoming/outgoing visit requests and classified meeting coordination/oversight
•    Conduct self-inspections and review core security processes for compliance
•    Manage physical security of facility, including managing the facility's automated intrusion detection and access control system
•    Document foreign travel by personnel and provide defensive briefings prior to travel, as required
•    Document and report adverse information, change in personnel status, and other reporting requirements through appropriate channels

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of industrial security
•    Working knowledge of DD254s
•    Experience handling COMSEC material
•    Strong understanding of security policies and procedures across the DOD and Intelligence Community
•    Knowledgeable in the use of  government databases, i.e. JCAVS/JPAS, eQIP, and ISFD
•    Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•    Excellent organization skills
•    Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
•    Work as part of a team to accomplish common goals

Qualifications

•    U.S. citizen with active SECRET clearance, TS/SCI experience preferred
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline and 5 years related experience
•    Ability to obtain and maintain FSO certification
•    ISP certification preferred
•    Experience in information systems security a plus
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
