Looking for a challenging leadership position?  We are looking for a Senior IT Leader for one of our clients in Alexandria, VA.  This Enterprise Architect position is highly visible with a rewarding and fast-paced environment.  This position starts in early February and is a long term full-time position. 

This position will be responsible for ensuring future technology capability is able to efficiently support current operations, change delivery plans, asset lifecycle management and corporate development (new business) activities.

The Enterprise Architect works closely with the broader architecture team to create, communicate and refine insight and recommendations to aid senior business stakeholders with their change planning and prioritization. They are the key go-to person for an end-to-end view of technology capability.

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related major.
• Pragmatic, results driven attitude.
• 10+ years technology experience.
• 5+ years’ experience architecting with 3rd party integration and/or cloud SaaS/PaaS.
• Experience with reviewing and adopting external standards and sponsoring adoption into internal organization (e.g. from SaaS, ISO, TOGAF, etc).
• Demonstrated continuing commitment to personal and professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; including the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels and trust others.
• Strong initiative and resilience to maintain drive in an environment that is rapidly evolving and changing constantly.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters in Computer Science or related major.
• Experience with selecting, reviewing and auditing 3rd party “cloud” service providers.
• Experience in modelling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical).
• The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Level 2 certification or similar (i.e., SCEA)
• Current hands-on experience with defining architecture (not just governing it).
