MindPoint Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer with security skills to assist with the build-out of our cloud security platform. The individual should have experience with both traditional development/engineering projects as well as working in a DevOps role. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment requiring strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to adapt to shifting priorities. The candidate should be familiar with the following:

• Configuration management and automation tools like Ansible;
• Linux server administration and configuration;
•  Building and managing systems using containerization technologies like Docker;
•  Building and managing development and production workloads on the Cloud (AWS);
•  Source control (Git) and package management tools (npm, pip, etc);
• Making your life easier through systems scripting/programming (Python, Perl, Bash, etc);

Functional Responsibilities: The candidate may perform all of the following:

• Collaborate with a small engineering team to design, build, deploy, and manage a new security platform.
  
• Automate systems from infrastructure to application deployment.
• Develop automation for the repeatable deployment of system components, or for performing routine management/deployment tasks.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain applications and systems deployed to AWS.
• Pro-actively look for ways to enhance the functionality, reliability, operation of the platform

• Minimum of five (5) years of general work experience and three (3) years of relevant experience in functional responsibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of formal education, experience.
• Candidate must have experience working with systems in cloud environments, i.e Amazon Web Services.
• Candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Candidate should have concise writing skills, excellent MS Word skills as well as other MS Office Applications.
• Experience with Ansible preferred. Other automation/orchestration tools accepted.
• Always willing to learn and master new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines preferred.
