Job Description

About the Position

Cannonball is seeking an Event Producer to drive new concepts through execution. We are seeking a passionate and hardworking person with a positive attitude who is highly social, excited about entrepreneurship, and will give 110% on any task given.

This person will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Managing and producing Cannonball’s in-house events/festivals, as well as some events on behalf of its clients and partners

  • Source venues, third-party vendors, and talent for all aspects of event activations

  • Build and oversee budget

  • Manage permitting and health/fire dept. regulations in festival cities 

  • Work with internal teams on creative, design, press and legal

  • Create event materials such as floor plans, run of show timelines, load-in kits, contact lists, deliverables, shot lists, and other documents pertinent for event

  • Manage event planning staff and team members on-site with clear roles and responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

About You

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2-3 years of experience in event management, event planning, and promotions

  • Knowledge of national venues and vendors

  • Highly collaborative, fostering strong relationships across all parts of the business and must enjoy learning/sharing knowledge

  • A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize

  • Creative, curious and entrepreneurial spirit- loves thinking of and executing new ideas

  • Passionate about events and care deeply about customer experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Able to communicate Cannonball brand intelligently, professionally and effectively

  • Live in the New York City metro area

Additional Information

You should be able to easily meet in the city at our office in NYC.
