Welcome to our automation team
You become part of BEUMER Group as you join our great automation team in the Product Design & Engineering department in Aarhus. We develop and maintain products and automation solutions for our airport baggage handling systems and our Logistics sortation solutions.

Depending on your preferences and qualifications, you will be the project manager of either the Airport or Logistics team taking responsibility for the Automation deliveries on several projects simultaneously.

Managing your projects
As an automation project manager, you will report to the Automation Team Manager. You will be responsible for the daily planning and execution of automation projects in close cooperation with the overall project management of the complete system solution. A team of 5-10 people will be reporting directly to you. 

Your tasks include:

• Planning and execution of automation projects in alignment with the overall project management
• Estimating task and cost to complete on active projects in our monthly resource planning
• Supporting sales on new projects, and supporting your team with strong technical guidance
• Participating in specification work and reviews
• Driving team meetings, staff 1:1 meetings and personal development dialogues
• Recruiting (assisted by HR), salary dialogues, organisational reviews in close cooperation with your Team-Manager

A strong automation background with a dedication to leadership  
You have a strong experience in managing automation projects. You are focused on the delivery of high-quality automation software and tough deadlines. You achieve this through a strong overview of your projects, close interaction and clear agreements/communication with your stakeholders. However, a key driver to your success is based on your desire to work with people. As the project manager you are driven towards developing, guiding and motivating the team through your experience and strong leadership behavior.

Moreover, you:

• Have a strong technical background with a degree in automation, and preferably experience with Siemens S7 Classic/TIA
• Have experience being part of large international system integration projects 
• Have an understanding of product development within automation
• Speak and write English at a high level
