Eurofins Environment Testing Australia New Zealand is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch, with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. 

TITLE:

Automation Test Engineer/ Sr. Automation Test Engineer

3-7 years of experience in Automation and Performance testing.

REPORTING TO:

QA Manager

WORKING LOCATION:

Bangalore

Responsibilities To be described

 Translate test cases to automation script using C#, CodedUI / UIA

 Adhere to coding standard and guidelines defined for automation

 Review code and fix any issue identified in scheduled automation runs

 Perform root cause analysis of script failures

 Ensure that activities are coordinated with all stakeholders according to schedule, while ensuring that scripting activities are thoroughly documented in support of lifecycle system engineering activities.

 Engage with functional test engineer’s to clarify test cases

 Submit and track automation identified defects.

 Identify and capture performance-testing objectives. Identify performance testing metrics and communicate results

 Implement and operate a Performance Testing process that follows a methodology to coordinate, plan, execute, and document the results of required testing activities during the full lifecycle of development projects.

 Research and establish a methodology for tracking the actual

transaction throughput in the test staging environment in order to design realistic automated performance test scenarios.

Technical knowledge:

 Experience in C#, Coded UI, and UIA

 Experience in API and Web service automation

 Able to write scripts that deal with JSON parameterization.

 Work experience with WPF Technology is a Plus.

 Hands on experience in testing of REST web services

 Exposure to various test framework

 Good understanding of SQL.

 Experience in performance test design, planning, work load modeling, and elicitation of non-functional requirements for testing

 Hand-on experience in any one Load testing tools (Visual Studio Load Test , Load Runner, Jmeter, Performance center, HP SaaS etc).

 Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements

 Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
