Job Description

Ravenna Solutions seeks a Sales Development Representative to join our successful sales team. The SDR will focus on prospecting into our target markets.  We offer competitive salaries, and a high-energy environment with abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth.  This role will be located in our Bellevue office and reports to our VP of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities:


  • Generate new business opportunities to drive pipeline growth (both cold-calls and email prospecting)
  • Conduct high-level conversations with school administrators in target markets
  • Schedule online product demonstrations for Sales Account Managers
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of Qualified Opportunities/AM meetings
  • Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Ravenna’s products, industry trends, and competition
  • Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using our CRM
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
  • Work internally with sales management and marketing to ensure proper quality, quantity, and success metrics are achieved

Qualifications

Required Skills and Must haves:

  • 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Sales, and/or Marketing succeeding in a goal-driven environment

  • Cold-calling experience

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Proficiency in using Google Apps, Confluence (or other Wiki) ,CRM technology, LinkedIn

  • High motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The desire to meet/exceed measurable performance goals

  • The ability to gracefully continue a conversation through objections

  • A fanatical attention to detail

You should have:

  • A Bachelors degree in a business-related program

  • Knowledge of the admission process or school administrative practices a plus, but not required

  • SaaS experience a plus, but not required
