Spear Education is hiring a Solutions Architect that can work with our product owners to plan and design enterprise scale deployments of our SaaS solution platform. The architect will provide leadership and solutions support in - infrastructure operations, DevOp, application development, API development, multi-platform integration. The Solution Architect will also provide guidance, and recommendations on best practice technical solutions and large scale complex deployment mechanism.

ROLE SUMMARY

• Lead large-scale infrastructure design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Deliver architectures that support the most efficient and secure IT environment meeting customer’s business needs, and provide architectural oversight for deployment of SPEAR software solutions.
• Lead in conceptual / planning level of the application architecture in collaboration with other architects and technical teams, including scoping and architecting infrastructure solutions.
• Provide key architectural vision and roadmap for SPEAR’s SaaS solutions
• Constract best in class integration solutions taking into consideration scale, high availability, response time and security
• Leading technical teams in the delivery of challenging technical infrastructure solutions

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working on integrating disparate systems into our SaaS solution platform using – Rest API, ETL mechanism and web services etc.
• Work closely with product management to optimize database, queries in line with SLA requirements
• System design - define the architecture, system modules, interfaces (API), and data for a system to satisfy specified requirements, performance and security
• Platform development – application development
• Functional design (including technical documentation, use stories)

• Deep experience in building multi-tier cloud based enterprise platforms using:
  • PHP
  • Angular.JS
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular.js), jQuery
  • Web services
  • SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • AWS

• Deep knowledge of enterprise/cloud based architectural patterns:
  • MVC
  • Laravel
  • Angular .JS.
• Google Analytics
• CICD
