W4 is looking for a talented Technical Product Manager to join us in our sunny West LA office. Our technology is the backbone for an ever-growing digital marketing company. We are scaling to new heights and we’re looking for a detail-oriented self-starter to join our small agile team. You will be working closely with our engineering team to execute software used by our publishers, advertisers, and internal staff. You will identify the features that users want/need that are in line with business and revenue goals and facilitate their development. This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity with room for growth for an individual who goes above and beyond the expected requirements of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning and own the execution of our product roadmap, delivering high-quality work on tight deadlines

• Motivate and organize the engineering team to achieve a higher level of performance by fostering an environment of success and instilling a sense of trust and teamwork

• Groom, prioritize, and manage the product backlog and timelines

• Build and manage sprints to ensure the most relevant and impactful items are executed and released

• Collaborate with team members to refine requirements and use cases to ensure they are ready for development

• Work with CTO, CEO, and Director of Product to get business requirements and create specifications

• Be savvy enough to understand business needs but tactical enough to understand and unblock technical dependencies

• Leverage your technical background to coordinate/facilitate solving technical challenges with the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of software development leadership experience

• 2+ years of previous technical experience as a software developer

• Strong experience as a Scrum Master or Project / Product Manager

• Track record of writing clear and concise plans, requirements, status updates, and release notes

• Complete knowledge of SDLC

• Knowledge of web development platforms, databases, and infrastructure

• Excellent understanding of software design

• Project Management certification is a plus

• Understanding of report writing and business intelligence analytics

• Strong interest in and understanding of the online advertising space
