Spear Education is hiring a Data Entry Specialist. The person in this role will review and process the company’s orders to ensure the accuracy of customer data to facilitate the timely collection of customer payments. This person will also frequently work inter-departmentally, building relationships with sales team members to help the company’s customers succeed. The position is ideal for someone wanting to gain valuable experience within a corporate department and grow within.

Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

Review customer orders to interpret general terms as well as key deliverables and service milestones

  • Enter customer orders into NetSuite, verifying orders are complete and accurate
  • Verify customer records are accurate, containing up-to-date information
  • Process customer account changes
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for order entry and sales fulfillment


DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with sales organization to update customer accounts
  • Update necessary team and leadership on current customer accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service to Sales and Accounting
  • Send/Receive and store all Customer Service Contracts and Agreements (DocuSign), and clean up all irrelevant files in NetSuite attached to Customers. Assure the latest version is always in the system
  • Update NetSuite Sales Orders to track customer journey (operations) following specific workflow process
  • Enter New/Renewal Sales Orders, Enter Cases/Cancellations
  • Register Customers for on-site courses

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2-3 years of experience with contract management including high volume data entry while maintaining accuracy in a professional environment
  • Ability to verify customer billings comply with the terms of their contracts
  • Ability to interpret and process order changes for customer upgrades and downgrades
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, Salesforce.com
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Innovative, growth-oriented mindset and a commitment to helping customers succeed
  • Self-motivated and organized with excellent time management skills

  • Office environment, normal noise levels, comfortable temperature, no extreme conditions.
  • Professional attire required.
  • A personal vehicle is necessary for this position as excursions to local vendors will be required on a regular basis (lunch runs, trips to bank or offsite meetings)
