We are looking for a passionate and skilled (Senior) PHP Developer to join our Marketing Technology Team.

The Marketing Technology team enables the online marketing of ABOUT YOU to manage over 30 marketing channels across multiple countries by automating the underlying processes and management of external marketing tools. We constantly monitor the correct setup by maintaining automated checks as well as real-time monitoring solutions.

Challenges the Marketing Technology Team will be working on in the next 12 months:

• Implement Google BigQuery as a replacement for certain aspects of our current MySQL’s responsibilities
• Build a resilient pipeline to distribute our attributed revenue data to online marketing partners
• Setup internal APIs for consumption by our online shops (mainly for internal search and search engine optimization)

What you will do

• Work closely with online marketing to identify their needs and proactively find solutions
• Development with PHP in Laravel on AWS
• Integrate the APIs of external online marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adjust, Smartly, Doubleclick)
• Constantly challenge and expand your knowledge of software architecture, programming and new technologies
• Be a mentor to more junior team members and always act as a good example regarding coding standards and code reviews

Who you are

• Minimum of 2 years experience in PHP development
• Practical experience of at least 1 year with PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony required)
• Experience with handling, querying and storing of large amounts of data
• Self-dependent and responsible working
• Passionate and eager to learn
• Very good written & spoken English skills

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with key-value stores like Redis
• Knowledge of data warehouse solutions like  BigQuery and Git / Gitflow
