Starting a school from scratch is one of the most exciting, challenging and rewarding things we've ever done. Now that we are close to beginning our third year with students, we’re looking to put the finishing touches on our faculty.

Intrinsic or Extrinsic Motivation: Both. But over the long-term we'll take intrinsic 9 out of 10 times.

Would we send our kids to Cypress? Yes, in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, they are too old.

This is a part-time position.

The Instructional Coach will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning. The Instructional Coach will focus on individual coaching that will expand and refine the
understanding about researched-base effective instruction. In order to meet this purpose, the Instructional Coach will provide personalized support that is based on the goals and identified needs of individual teachers. In particular, the coach will focus on the implementation of Conscious Discipline as it relates to classroom management and the Cypress Academy mission and values. 

1. Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university.
2. Minimum of seven years of successful teaching experience.
3. Experience in researched-based instructional practices.
4. Desire to continue career improvement.
