We are seeking a Warehouse/Driver to support our branch in Spokane, WA.  This includes processing orders and making deliveries to our customers as well as participating in all other warehouse related duties.

Job Description

It is the responsibility of the Warehouse/Driver to work as a valuable member of their branch team, to support branch operations through efficiency and accuracy in the warehouse and while making customer deliveries.  

More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Warehouse/Driver to:

1) Accurately and efficiently pick, pack and process customer orders and transfers:

a) Use the P21 (ERP system) system and WWMS (Wireless Warehouse Management Solution) to accurately pick customer orders and transfers

b) Pack orders and transfers properly for shipping with appropriate paperwork and labeling

c) Accurately prepare and ship orders using P21 and UPS system, recording shipments properly

d) Prioritize packing slips for delivery

e) Understand “pick & hold” process and procedures

f) Understand process for GHS safety data sheets and attach to orders when appropriate

g) Safely operate forklifts as needed

2) Accurately route, load, and deliver customer orders in a timely manner

a) Be aware of your vehicle condition, report any necessary repairs or unsafe conditions to your supervisor

b) Alert your supervisor to any customer complaints or customer satisfaction issues

3) Accurately receive, put away and cycle count inventory

a) Understand basic P21 PO Entry function

b) Use P21 and WWMS to accurately record receipt of PO and transfer items in a timely fashion on the same day that items arrive

c) Process any problem shipment timely and accurately, communicating immediately with the proper departments, including but not limited to:

i) Freight claims

ii) Supplier short shipments or damaged shipments

d) Accurately put stock away in a timely and quick manner in appropriate, assigned warehouse locations

e) Perform accurate and timely cycle counts based on branch commitment to 100% count 2X annually

f) Perform all above tasks while meeting the company standards for safety and security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• MS Office

• Must have a valid driver license

• Must be able to operate a forklift

• Requires standing, stooping, reaching and walking for continuous periods of time

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds 

• Must be able to perform repetitive work with your hands and arms
