Job Description

The FSO e-Learning Content Developer will provide support to the RIF Academy Project Manager in the following areas:

  • Design and develop creative and engaging eLearning using Articulate 360

  • Publish eLearning to Good Return’s Learning Management System (TalentLMS)

  • Support the development of Good Return’s digital learning content in all its forms, including curated content, new eCourses, screen casting, assessments, short videos, reference guides and support materials

  • Work with translators to duplicate eLearning into other languages (from English master courses)

  • Other responsibilities as assigned during the year (based on the needs of the program)



Qualifications

IMPORTANT: Citizenship – you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency to apply for this position. Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.

Essential skills & experience:

  • Have at least 1 year demonstrated experience developing eLearning using rapid eLearning authoring tools (for example Articulate 360 or similar)

  • Have worked with digital channels to create interactive learning elements and engaging activities utilising a range of techniques

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Understand and be comfortable working within an agile and iterative design process

  • Experience working in a cross-cultural context, especially within teams

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Hold a vocational or tertiary qualification in one of the following (Instructional Design, eLearning Design, Education, Media, Training & Assessment, or similar fields)

  • Knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) platforms

  • Demonstrated experience designing and or developing content for audiences constrained by low literacy, low numeracy or low technology self-efficacy

  • Applied knowledge of online communications (including social media)

  • Experience living and working in a developing country

  • Foreign language skills

Additional Information

The placement will commence in-country in July 2018. Applicants must be available for a one week induction course (held in May 2018 at Good Return’s Sydney office), prior to the commencement of their placement. Later commencement dates and/or periods of less than 12 months will not be considered.

Good Return will provide international airfares, certain pre-departure medical costs, visa expenses, insurance and a monthly living allowance (including accommodation costs).
