Job Description

As an IT Operations engineer, you will maintain day-to-day operations and documentation of Snows IT infrastructure. Work will include but not be limited to troubleshooting, administration and support. Environments consist of datacenters, SaaS, PaaS and cloud environments. You will assist the business in implementation of new solutions and help find the best way forward. You are expected to work with a proactive mentality and take personal responsibility for the quality, reliability and availability of the infrastructure.

In this role, you will partly work in projects and perform both implementations and evaluations which will require a level of experience in procurements and finding a solution that fits the requirements. You will also manage vendor agreements and SLAs.

Part of your responsibility will also be to assist support technicians to help them improve their skill levels. This is done both by direct training as with guides and KB articles.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience from working with advanced technical server operations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills regarding client and server technologies.
  • Experience of delivering support for mixed IT environments and MS SQL based applications.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server operating system.
  • It’s an advantage if you are familiar with O365, PowerShell, Azure, and Networking.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken is required. Swedish is a plus.
