Job Description

OrthoIllinois specializes in the treatment and prevention of orthopedic injury. With five locations in the greater Rockford area and two locations in the Crystal Lake area we pride ourselves in evaluating and treating a wide demographic of patients. At OrthoIllinois you will work across the hall from 4 hand surgeons and many other OrthoIllinois physicians which facilitates open communication and superior patient care. Patient Case Load: 

  • 100% outpatient
  • Orthopedic; both surgical and conservative: 

                    - Wound care

                    - Amputations
                    - Tendon injuries
                    - Fractures
                    - Nerve compression injuries

  • Rheumatology, sports medicine and work conditioning.
  • One-on-one patient care with 40 minute slots for both treatment and evaluations

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a BS or higher.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in orthopedic/ hand Occupational Therapy setting 

REQUIREMENTS:  Must possess a current Illinois Occupational Therapist license.  

Must have CHT certification or at least 4 years of experience in a hand clinic
