Job Description

DNN is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Account Management team. The AM team is responsible for our 1800 customers globally. They take care of both renewing licenses and selling additional products & licenses.

The BDM will work closely with the AM team in uncovering new opportunities inside DNN’s existing customer base.

Responsibilities 

The objective of this role is to uncover and qualify upsell opportunities within our existing client base. 

  • Place outbound calls and emails with a consultative approach to identify opportunity for additional product adoption and in turn ensure successful product use and satisfaction.
  • Identify, qualify, and escalate upsell opportunities to Account Managers.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and technical calls that “move the needle” in growing our accounts.
  • Identify and escalate client issues to Account Managers and Technical Support.
  • Share customer-provided product feedback to the DNN Product team, to help inform the product roadmap.
  • Provide a bridge to the DNN Marketing team to help source opportunities for customer testimonials and case studies.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years of Sales or Sales Development experience
  • Ability to process a high amount of outbound volume (calls and emails)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a visible and highly accountable position in a growing ambitious company 
  • Passion for sales, and technology 
  • Comfortable working knowledge of our software and how it can be applied to solve business issues (training is provided) 
  • Experience using SalesForce preferred 
  • University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent experience.
