Job Description

  • Responsible for Full cycle, high volume, Accounts payable process
  • Check and approve all vouchers for payment and review for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Responsible to handle all vendor inquiries in a professional manner
  • Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors as directed
  • Prepare accounts payable checks
  • Print all accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files
  • Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
  • Assist in monthly closings
  • Process expense reports and employee reimbursements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting
  • Technical knowledge of accounting regulations, policies and procedures
  • Strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel, QuickBooks and other software
  • Detail- and deadline-oriented
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
