Job Description

Job Summary

Work as part of the Customer Sales and Support team to ensure customer success, assist with training and troubleshooting, encourage follow-on sales, and maintain effective customer relationships in the intelligence community. Provide technical program leadership/supervision to assigned programs and associated personnel by organizing project and task workloads within budget and schedule guidelines. Have a solid understanding of system integration with existing and future intelligence capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent communication and regular presence at user sites to ensure continuity of relationship and generally maintain and ensure customer goodwill. Serve as primary point of contact, answer queries from unit personnel, and collect feedback. 
  • Gather requirements from potential customers and facilitate engineering communication to develop new markets within the intelligence field 
  • Ensure successful overall program performance within budgetary and schedule guidelines, including establishing budgets and forecasting manpower, equipment, and supply needs. Assume ultimate responsibility for delivery/contract compliance status. 
  •  Maintain program contract pricing and updates; ensure all relevant components are available and correctly priced on contract. 
  • Determine level of product adoption and track program changes that affect GATR. 
  • Determine operational proficiency and schedule retraining as needed. 
  • Communicate information on system updates, including formal design change notices; plan GATR attendance and presentations at product team meetings; advocate for product changes between customer and GATR Engineering. 
  • Work with customer’s unit and program office leadership to secure quotes for needed parts and training, project upcoming year purchases, and facilitate contracting for funds. 
  • Maintain lists of leadership and key operators at each command/unit. Identify, obtain, and provide introductions for, and occasionally travel with, Sales staff to potential customer sites to support GATR product demonstrations. Participate in key conferences to help position product and obtain contact information for potential commands. 
  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, exercises, and other venues to display/demonstrate GATR products.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid experience with customers in sensitive military and national intelligence communities 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of United States intelligence structure, both military and federal government. 
  • SATCOM experience preferred 
  • Networking experience preferred 
  • Ability to represent the company on site and present the product positively and with confidence during all aspects of implementation 
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with all levels of production and management chains 
  • Ability to motivate and lead team members, providing mentoring as part of a career development program 
  • Exposure to SIGINT, COMINT, or similar preferred. 
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Project, as well as learn new software packages. Database experience is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organization skills

Credentials and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
  • At least 4 years related experience

Special Requirements

  • Moderate travel required (up to 40%)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must have the physical flexibility to kneel, squat, and bend
