Darby Smart is a fast-growing video shopping platform for millennial women. You can watch and shop product videos created by our users. We are launching our first proprietary brand and looking for a talented visual designer to join our team. Founded and headquartered in San Francisco, Darby Smart is redefining the shopping experience by bringing products to life through authentic, user-generated video.

As a Visual Designer on the proprietary brand's team, you’ll help bring our first proprietary beauty brand, Shero Science, to life. As a member of the team, you’ll partner with product, engineering, and growth to understand problems and goals, translate user flows into friendly interfaces, create compelling marketing visuals for the growth team and deliver pixel-perfect designs. You must be able to help solve our design challenges and think creatively to engage our users. You should be passionate about experimentation and love trying new things to gain user insights. You’ll take every opportunity to inspire and add delight to our user’s lives.

What you’ll do:

• Own design challenges end-to-end

• Create wireframes and prototypes

• Design targeted marketing emails and graphics for use in social media

• Design Facebook, Pinterest, and other social ads to help push the brand forward

• Collaborate with our amazing engineering, product and marketing team to bring your amazing designs to life

Your Qualifications:

• 3 -5 years experience as a visual designer who has collaborated across the company from product managers and engineers to marketing teams

• Strong cross-platform design experience (web, iOS, email, social) A creative scientist who loves testing new ideas to gain insights

• Desire to manage multiple projects at once

• A portfolio that shows your high quality, thoughtful branding and UI work

• Outgoing and eager to take on responsibility

• Believes that in design less is more, and that every element is there for a reason
