Job Description
Main job scope:
- Proposing and implementing the complete marketing & commercial strategy and the related business plan to develop business and projects in Malaysia
- Responsibility for projects annual revenue and profitability targets in Malaysia
Responsibilities and Duties:
1- Strategic Development:
- Proposing and implementing the marketing & commercial strategy
- Work as high level business development person for bringing new clients to the company and for ensuring the right level of follow-up with key accounts
- Building medium term, annual business plan & budgets, business commercial project offers - integrating technical, financial-legal components - to customers
- Regularly analyse the company's competitive environment, the sales results and take the appropriate measures to secure and increase the market share
- Use good commercial instincts and networking skills to represent the company with professionalism & integrity and to drive business development,
2- Organizational Management:
- Using leadership skills in order to drive others, establish a shared vision and motivate people to work together to achieve shared objectives.
- Responsible for business and project development until operation start and to secure projects annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Assistance to Managing Director for supervising and managing progressively operations & projects, account & finances, supply chain, legal, IT, HR and others companies activities
- Invest in supporting and developing employees
- Unite a team around shared objectives
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Male or Female, 40-50 years old
- Master engineering, master of business administration degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years of sales and business development experience in either energy, engineering, industrial, petro-chemical, M&E services sectors for multinational venture
- At least 5 years as a Commercial or Business Development Director with successful track records in Malaysia
- Strong experience within a "Consultative selling" environment (value-added services, where understanding, questioning and influencing the clients' need is key)
- Strong demonstrated leadership skills for projects & business development
- Experience in Merging & Acquisition projects or managing due diligences consultants would be an advantage
Key Competency Required
- Ability to anticipate Malaysian market developments and work in coordination with Managing Director and regional business development team
- Strong Influencing and business partnering skills, coupled with a strong creative and entrepreneurial spirit, ability to take initiatives, will be critical for success in this role
- Ambitious and highly motivated.Ability to assess and derive commercial business proposals with technical, financial and legal components
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
- Creative manager, always seeking for new opportunities and ways of doing and able to inspire his team
- English Fluent + one Asian language (Mandarin or Malay would be an advantage)
