These services include accounting, payroll, third-party billing and collections, human resources, online and live Continuing Education, marketing, facility development and quality assurance programs.

Job Description

HSMC is currently seeking a full time Associate Director of Accounting to provide direct supervision of three Accountants and one Accounts Payable Supervisor providing services to several multi-site human services organizations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversight of full cycle accounting process for client companies
  • Oversight of the Accounts Payable process for all client companies
  • Review and analyze Financial Statements prepared by Staff Accountants
  • Review of Accounts Receivable aging for delegated client companies 
  • Review and analysis of materials necessary for the completion of annual audits
  • Oversee Budget Preparations and renewal of insurance policies for client companies

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting or current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure is required; Bachelor’s Degree with extensive relevant experience may be considered
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of finance/accounting experience required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience required
  • Experience in a multi-site organization engaged in Human Services or Healthcare is highly desired
